
Founded in 1997, Castellari srl is the sole marketer of the L.I. brand, which, thanks to the experience of its founder, Giuseppe Castellari, and the commitment of the entire personnel team, has, through over 30 years of experience, become a synonym for quality.
Right from the start, following the creation of interchangeable blades, Castellari sought to improve existing products and develop new ones.
In 1985 the striking branch cutter was developed.
Following a series of improvements to the Tucano (e.g. forged aluminium counter-blade) and the arrival of new products such as the “A” and the Giraffe, in 1991 the company came up with a breakthrough cutting concept: the introduction of the T.I. (‘painless cut’) range.
The Castellari product range was presented at the 1996 edition of EIMA: here, unique branch cutters and shears with an unbeatable size-weight ratio aroused considerable customer interest.
The 2004 edition of EIMA saw the presentation of Ergonomic Castellari, revolutionary one-of-a-kind shears with ergonomic handles.
Further growth followed in 2005: company expansion plans were implemented and work on a new 1800 m2 building was begun; development of the Olivance, an electric shaking device for olive harvesting, also began.
In 2006 an exclusive Italy-wide sales agreement was entered into with the Infaco brand.
